YOTS – youth transport
Reliance provides the safe and secure transportation of the youth offenders, as part of its national contract for the YJB, and Scottish Authorities transporting around 2,000 people per annum. Each specially adapted discrete vehicle is also equipped with food, drinks and on board entertainment for the travellers consisting of magazines and electronic games for long journeys.

This same level of service is also provided to over 30 Local Authorities, YOTS, Children’s Homes and Secure Training Centres. Reliance offers the same level of service provided to the YJB, of enhanced CRB checked people to escort juveniles in specially customised vehicles.

Experience
Our service to is built on our considerable experience of delivering secure logistics solutions across the whole of the Criminal Justice environment. We: transport over 420,000 detainees a year across England, Wales and all of Scotland, with over 2,500 staff and 540 vehicles; provide the national secure juvenile transport service for the Youth Justice Board, with 100 staff strategically based throughout England & Wales to cover movement requirements. Our combined UK prisoner escorting and secure transport operations travel over 10 million miles per annum, carrying out the bespoke safe and secure transport needs of our wide range of customers.

Our People
Our services are delivered according to our customers' strict requirements. All our staff are specially trained to exhibit pro-social behaviour when dealing with offenders, and undergo enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks.

Our Vehicles
We utilise a mix of cars, MPVs, cellular and larger passenger vehicles depending upon the requirements of our customer. Our vehicles are modern and comfortable, and display no identifying marks.
