Our values, behaviours and principles

Our corporate responsibility policy is about how our business aligns our  values and behaviour with the expectations and needs of our stakeholders – not just customers and investors, but also employees, suppliers, communities, regulators, special interest groups and society as a whole.

Reliance take a responsible attitude, going beyond the minimum legal requirements and following straightforward principles that ensure we understand how our business impacts on the wider world; and how we can use this impact in a positive way.

Our Principles
We believe that it is vital to conduct business with the highest standards of integrity and a strong commitment to protect and support our people, customers and other stakeholders; importantly encompassing a responsible attitude on environmental matters, as well as actively supporting community-related initiatives.

We recognise that good CR makes good business sense; as by adopting socially and environmentally responsible behaviour, we can make a significant contribution to boosting wealth creation and employment, fostering social justice and protecting the environment.

The principles encompassed in this policy cover all areas of our operations and have been developed, and continue to be reviewed against, and updated by reference to relevant codes of corporate governance and international standards.
